The UPSL and NPSL are two distinct leagues that cater to semi-professional soccer players, each with unique structures and opportunities. The UPSL is known for its flexible league structure, allowing teams to operate independently while adhering to league standards. In contrast, the NPSL emphasizes a more traditional approach, with a focus on regional divisions and a structured playoff system. These differences impact player eligibility, development opportunities, and overall league dynamics.

OSNER’S FC Player Pathway From our Academy to UPSL Premier and NPSL, OSNER’S FC provides a clear, structured pathway for players in New York. We develop technical skills, tactical awareness, physical fitness, and professional habits at every stage, preparing athletes for elite semi-professional competition and opportunities in collegiate or professional soccer. Osner’s FC has secured a spot in the UPSL Premier Northeast American Division playoffs in its very first season at that level. A triumphant 4–3 victory over Red Hook FC, complemented by strong performances throughout the campaign including a key win over Brooklyn FC II, has positioned Osner’s FC in 4th place out of the six playoff-qualifying clubs.
In a year already filled with milestones, Osner's FC, a proud Haitian-American owned soccer club in New York City is honored to announce its participation in the U.S. Open Cup Qualifiers for the very first time. This step into America’s longest-running soccer competition marks not only a sporting achievement but a cultural and community triumph for a club committed to excellence, opportunity, and growth.
